- Pool Industry News and Tips,
If you live in San Diego, you've got sun, surf and probably you're own swimming pool. Can it get much better? The answer is yes, and everyone knows that variety is the spice of life. Shake things up every now and then and try out one of these awesome rooftop pools right in the vicinity of that immaculate place you call home.
Hotel Palomar
If you're looking for a wild night out combined with a relaxing dip in the pool, consider spending a night at Hotel Palomar. Located on 5th Avenue, it's known for a fun-loving crowd and cool vibe. As stated on the hotel's website, the Summersalt Rooftop Pool and Lounge is a place where adults can behave like children again. From scrumptious plates of food to music that'll make you move, there's plenty of reason to let loose.
People who want to enjoy this party have to be at least 21, and you can attend a party even if you're not a guest at the hotel. Tickets are available through the hotel's website.
Solamar, cousin of Palomar
If you still haven't had your fix, be sure to check out the Solamar. Like Polamar, it's a Kimpton Hotel. A night at the fancy getaway promises stunning views of the city, memories by the fire pit and fancy food and drinks. Similar to its cousin, the hotel offers bottle service, which can also be delivered to your private cabana.
You barely have to move a muscle, but if you want to there's the fitness center. Rise and stretch with complementary yoga, which takes place on the pool deck every Sunday at 10 a.m., as stated on the hotel's website.
Andaz's RoofTop600
Even if you don't like swimming, you should check out RoofTop600's pool/bar/restaurant extravaganza. It's another swanky establishment that offers bottle service to your private cabana. They also have a chef who's known for cooking with locally sourced, organic ingredients.
Poolside chairs offer a stunning view of the San Diego skyline. See the skyline all lit up if you head to the rooftop for an evening swim and a snack.
Take your pick or make a bucket list of all the rooftop bars that you want to visit during your stay in the city. Enjoy a fun night out at a rooftop pool, even if you're not one for swimming.
